Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RepCord handles information when you visit the RepCord website, join an early-access program, contact us, or use RepCord product features that are made available to you.
1. Who this policy applies to
This Policy applies to the RepCord website at repcordapp.com, RepCord early-access and contact forms, and RepCord applications or product experiences that link to this Policy. References to “RepCord,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the RepCord product project operated through Pescao' Creative Studio for the purposes described here.
Some RepCord features are still in development. The categories of information described below apply only when the relevant feature is available and you choose to use it.
2. Information we may collect
Information you provide directly
- Account and profile information: name, email address, username, profile details, preferred units, training location preferences, athlete or coach mode, and similar settings.
- Early-access and contact information: email address, role, current training tools, messages, and any information you choose to submit through website forms.
- Training records: workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, distances, times, scores, RX/scaled status, RPE, notes, dates, training locations, programming source, and session history.
- Performance and body context: personal records, benchmark results, bodyweight and other optional body or activity information that you choose to add or connect.
- Coach and athlete connections: information related to coaching relationships, assigned programming, feedback, shared results, and permissions between connected accounts.
- Imported content: workout screenshots, pasted text, files, or information imported from another service when you choose to use an import feature.
Information collected automatically
When the production service is available, we may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, browser, IP address, approximate region, app version, crash diagnostics, feature interactions, and security logs. We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve RepCord.
Connected services
If RepCord later offers integrations with health, activity, gym, calendar, wearable, or other third-party services, we will request the permissions required for that integration. The specific data received will depend on the service and permissions you authorize. You can choose not to connect optional services.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:
- provide, personalize, maintain, and improve RepCord;
- create and maintain your training history and performance profile;
- calculate trends, personal records, benchmarks, summaries, and other performance metrics;
- structure workouts or imported content and reduce manual data entry;
- generate product insights, recommendations, or contextual explanations;
- support coach-athlete collaboration when you choose to connect or share information;
- respond to questions, support requests, and early-access applications;
- protect accounts, prevent abuse, investigate technical issues, and maintain service security;
- communicate important product, privacy, security, or account updates; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. AI and automated analysis
RepCord may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to structure workout information, identify movements, summarize training history, detect possible personal records, and surface patterns or insights. Automated outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed in context.
RepCord performance insights are informational. They are not medical diagnoses, medical advice, physical-therapy advice, or a substitute for a qualified coach or healthcare professional.
5. How information may be shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
- With people you choose: for example, a coach, athlete, gym, or other connection when you deliberately share information or enable a relationship inside RepCord.
- Service providers: hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, security, AI processing, customer support, and other vendors that help operate RepCord under appropriate contractual obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce terms, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the security of the service.
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
6. Coach, athlete and gym visibility
RepCord may allow users to connect with coaches, athletes, or training organizations. Information visible to a connected account depends on the feature, relationship, and permissions in use. Before enabling production sharing features, RepCord will aim to make the relevant visibility clear in the interface.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Training history may be retained while your account remains active because continuity of that history is a core RepCord function.
If you request account deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information that is no longer required, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate retention needs.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their own account credentials and devices.
9. International data processing
RepCord and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we will use appropriate legal mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can make a privacy request through the contact form at repcordapp.com/#contact. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
The launch website may use strictly necessary technologies required for hosting, forms, security, and site operation. If RepCord introduces optional analytics, advertising, or non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.
12. Children and minors
RepCord is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher minimum age for independent consent, that higher age applies. Minors who are permitted to use RepCord may require authorization from a parent, guardian, gym, or other responsible adult depending on local law and the feature being used.
13. Third-party websites and services
RepCord may link to or interact with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to a third party.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as RepCord develops, adds integrations, changes infrastructure, or launches new features. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
